Harold Thimbleby’s 24 May 2013 talk @InfAtEd (Edinburgh Uni’s Informatics department) via @mariawolters

Today Harold Thimbleby (one of CHI+MED’s principal investigators based at the FIT Lab in Swansea) spoke at @InfAtEd (Informatics at Edinburgh) and his talk was livetweeted by @mariawolters – thanks Maria.

In the talk Harold talks about the use of nomograms as a calculation aid (in that they are faster and safer than calculators and provide a record of calculations) – here is Harold’s page of resources on nomograms including worked examples and pre-prints of articles.
